For graduate coordinators
Reviewing committees
Planning forms submitted by students in your programs appear under Action required in Your theses. Open the thesis to see the proposed committee against the committee rules, then Approve (the proposed members are then asked to accept), Reject with a note (the student revises and resubmits), or Hold to ask the student to meet with you.
Your programs
Programs in the administration bar lists your programs. On a program page you maintain who may serve on committees:
- add a standing or provisional member by campus email or campus ID (someone who has never signed in is remembered by email and attached at their first sign-in);
- mark members tenure-track, which the chair rule needs;
- import a list of members from a CSV of email addresses and memberships;
- remove members; every change is recorded in the audit log.
Off-campus members invited by students are added to your program as provisional members.
Finding students
People searches the students of your programs and the theses you serve on; results link straight to the thesis page.
