For administrators and the supervisor

People searches everyone; results link to each person's theses. Act as shows ETD exactly as that person sees it (never as another admin, evaluator, or supervisor); a banner stays on every page, everything you do is recorded under your own name, and the session ends after an hour.
Invite an off-campus person, resend an invitation, and disable or enable accounts from the same page.
Audit log records every change with who, when, from where, and the thesis or person concerned; filter by person, thesis, or dates.
Programs and Terms & deadlines are visible for reference.

The supervisor has every capability plus:

View as in the top bar shows ETD as any other role (admin, evaluator, read-only evaluator, graduate coordinator, or a plain user) until you switch back; the Programs page offers the view of one program's coordinator.
Roles grants and revokes every role, including additional supervisors and coordinators per program.
Options, Policies, and Sign-in providers maintain reference data: degrees, embargo options, checklist sections, the committee rules, and the OpenID Connect providers that sign people in (the campus provider is configured on the server; others are added here with the email domains they serve).
On a thesis page, Supervisor tools can force a state with a mandatory reason, record a repository handle, set per-thesis policy exceptions, and archive a thesis so its student may start another.
System status shows the configuration (secrets masked), health checks, and the mail outbox; Feedback lists what people have sent.
